Robinson’s Pharmacy opened its doors in 1932, and never left. While other pharmacies came and went, we stayed put on Main Street, filling prescriptions through wars, recessions, and a pandemic. The neon Rexall Drugs sign still glows above the entrance, not out of nostalgia, but because it's never stopped being true.
We’ve had just three owners in over 90 years. Today, the pharmacy is led by Dennis Thomas, a former mayor, and lifelong Placerville local. He’s not a figurehead. He’s behind the counter, on the phone with your doctor, and showing up for community meetings after hours. When we say Robinson’s is locally owned, we mean it, in every sense.
